Livia Giuggioli steals the Oscar fashion spotlight

The Oscar's Red CarpetThe glamorous Livia Giuggioli, wife of the future Sir Colin Firth, has stunned the Oscars with her BLING. She has been wonderfully dressed for past award shows but no movie would be better  for her most stunning gown and jewelry than The King’s Speech.

She wore a gorgeos gown designed by Gary Harvey. It was cut from the 11 vintage frocks from the reign of George VI. The former Levi’s designer has really done beautifully with her gown.  However, nothing can compare to her jewelry on this occasion.

Her earrings and enormous cocktail ring were crafted from fair minded ecological gold with fully traceable gems. Nothing has ever been so traceable. The Oro Verde Gold which was used for her jewelry came from Columbia.

Workers at the CRED jewelry mine actually extract precious metals by hand and not by any chemical means. This is to avoid poisonous products like cyanide and mercury into mixing with gold.

The diamonds are from Liqhobong Women Miners Cooperative in Lesotho, and her 35 carats aquamarines came from Lundazi, whose gems are hand exported to Sri-Lanka for cutting before they are personally sent to London for display.

No jewelry has ever been made from so many traceable elements than Livia’s. the selection was made by the famous gemologist Guy Clutterback who has obviously impressed Livia. The gemologist captured her’s fancy with his stories abroad reminding Livia of her dad’s stories when he was traveling in Africa and Saudi Arabia.

Livia then choose stones from Anna Loucah, the Brighton-based designer to create the piece which is Loucah’s Fifth triumphant Oscar presentation after making the outfit of recycled white gold, ethical rubies and purple spinel, carbon-neutral pears and back diamonds.
