Prince Harry organized a secret bachelor bash for his brother, Prince William, over the weekend. The palace confirmed on Monday that the party had taken place. However, officials refused to give further details about it.

The royal wedding has been the talk of the town since Prince William publicized his engagement to his long-time girlfriend, Kate Middleton. Prince William, 28 and Kate Middleton, 29, will marry on April 29 at Westminster Abbey in London.

The prince celebrated his remaining days as a bachelor far from paparazzi. It was reportedly held at a friend’s country estate in eastern England. Several speculations were made about the party. Some said it includes water sports, but news revealed the brothers opted for a low-key private party.

The Daily Telegraph released the news to the media. It said the stag party for the prince was attended by about 20 guests.

Some of them include Prince William’s closest friends such as James Meade, Thomas van Straubenzee and Hugh van Cutsen, who is one of Prince Charles’ godsons. Guy Pelly, a nightclub owner that helped Prince Harry organized the party, was also present.

The guests and other people involved in the party had been sworn to secrecy. However, a source from the St. James Palace confirmed that the stag party happened and spokesman from Clarence House refused to comment.

Plans for Kate Middleton’s bachelorette party are still unknown and many speculations have already formed about it in the British media. Tabloids report her sister Pippa will throw a ‘dirty dancing-themed party’ at the Middleton’s home in Bucklebury.
