24 year-old actress Lindsay Lohan wants to redeem herself by returning to the big screen. She is hoping she can do it with the John Travolta film “Gotti: Three Generations.” On Tuesday, she told the crew during the project’s conference that she is already speaking with a couple of the producers and she might have a role in the film.

Lohan said that the project is an extremely fascinating one. She further said that the story of the Gotti’s and what the entire family has gone through for years is a great story for everyone to hear. Lindsay Lohan’s participation in the movie is not yet confirmed but Victoria Gotti, daughter of late John Gotti, is said to be grooming the young actress for the role.

Lindsay did not say if she’ll play the role of Victoria but she hinted on it…a lot! She said that she has never portrayed anyone she knew personally, so if she gets the role this would be her first. Also, she said that she and Victoria met when they were younger; further saying that her mom Dina Lohan and Victoria are good friends.

Lohan said that she also respects the strong woman that Victoria is. She even pointed out how similar her family and the Gottis are.

This movie could be a very good break from the felony grand theft the actress is facing at the moment. Sources say that Lohan is required to appear before the Los Angeles court on April 22.
