J.Lo Hailed Most Beautiful Woman by People Magazine

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez was hailed most beautiful woman in the world by the People’s Magazine as inspired by her famous job on the high-rated television show and reality series “American Idol.”

The “American Idol” judge topped the yearly list of People’s Magazine. She joins former most beautiful people winners Beyonce Knowles, Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner.

Jennifer Lopez was left speechless upon hearing the result. However, she said she really felt proud and happy. In addition, she felt she has now the rights to appreciate the things she has accomplished.

She got married to Marc Anthony, a singer, and took a time off to give birth and take care of her twins in 2008. After that, she made her comeback as one of the judges in the latest season of “American Idol.” Since then, she has enjoyed rebirth of her popularity.

Her latest single “On the Floor” tops music charts, giving J.Lo her first Top 10 Billboard hit since 2003. Her record label let her go in 2010 because of disappointing sales. However, she is expected to release her newest album in about four years called “Love?” in May.

J.Lo is widely famous for her curvy figure and flawless skin. Her good looks is even attributed to her good personal life now. She has avoided the thin-look, which became popular a few years ago.

Since she signed up for “American Idol” last year, she has been the celebrity face of several products such as L’Oreal, Gucci children’s clothes collection, as well as Venus razors.

American Idol’s Chris Medina Debuts His First Single

Chris Medina, an American Idol contestant who just got eliminated from the Top 24, is already achieving his recording dreams with the launch of his first single entitled “What Are Words.”

“What Are Words” is a song ballad written specially for Medina by Rodney Jerkins, a Grammy-winning producer. The video, which came out on 19 Recordings through Interscope, has already garnered more than a million views on Vevo.

At the “Idol” auditions, he sang his moving rendition of the song “Breakeven” by The Script. He touched the heart of the judges and millions of TV audience members worldwide not only because of the song he performed, but as well as his emotional personal back-story.

Medina, 26-years-old, worked as a coffee maker at Starbucks before he tried out at the singing contest and reality series, American Idol. Apart from that, he also cares for her fiancée, Juliana Ramos whom suffered a traumatic brain injury. Ramos got into a car accident just few months before their planned date to get married.

The “What Are Words” music video features the home videos of Ramos, including the recorded video of Medina’s proposal in the coffee house. Some old photos of the happy couples were also included.

Just before the “Idol” finalists were announced, Medina was eliminated because of his less fantastic performance of a classic song by the Beatles. His elimination caused too much grief for Jennifer Lopez, one of American Idol’s judges.

During a radio show, Medina was presented with $35,000 by Ryan Seacreast. It will go to the foundation to help his fiancée recover. A percentage of the song’s iTunes sales will also be given to the Juliana Recovery Fund.

New Fishing Crew Member on ‘Deadliest Catch’ Found Dead in Motel

A new fishing crew member of the popular TV show “Deadliest Catch” was found dead in a motel room in Alaska, the police reported on Wednesday.

‘Deadliest Catch’ is a Discovery channel reality series. One of its ships called Time Bandit, where Justin Tennison had worked, films the crab fishing industry in the treacherous waters off Alaska.

Authorities said Tennison was found dead in Homer on Tuesday afternoon. Lt. Randy Rosencrans, a Homer officer, said they discovered beer, hard liquor and small quantity of marijuana inside the room.

Two rooms were listed under the name of Tennison and guests staying near the rooms had complained about loud noise. Police supposed a party was being held Monday night in the motel room.

Discovery spokesman Josh Weinberg said Tennison’s posthumous debut will be on the series’ upcoming season that is scheduled to start in April. A statement posted on the official website of Time Bandit said that Justin was tough as a bull and was an all-around good hand.

Weinberg released a statement that says Discovery was disheartened by the news. They are sending their sympathies to his family, as well as his fellow crew members during these tough times.

On Wednesday afternoon, the cause of Tennison’s death was still unknown. Rosencrans informed that foul play is not suspected. Later Wednesday, an autopsy was performed by the state medical examiner’s office.

Tennison’s death comes more than a year after the “Deadliest Catch” fishing vessel Cornelia Marie Captain Phil Harries died of a massive stroke at the age of 53.
